I dont understand it... I can generate the map but how do I use it in the game?

Dont listen to the people who say it is terrible. If they would have read what this was for they would understand it is to make a board, not to play a game. The boards this game makes are great.

Its a really helpful app to build a Catan setting for the game. Ive played some challenging boards and I like it better than shuffling the resource cards.

This is absolutely the best way to generate random, yet reasonable, maps for your Settlers of Catan board game. Note I said "board game". This is for use with the physical board game, not the iOS app. Since getting this app I use it every time we play Catan now, which is quite often. 2.0 update made a great app even better.

Does what it says.

I have a 3D Catan board and this app is almost completely instrumental to having the big wooden set. If you have a hard time randomizing you catan boards this app is great to shake up your gaming experience and make set up quick and easy by having the positions of all the games resource hexagons and sea ports generated in an easy to understand display. This app is a great help to me and has really helped cut my set up time in half which allows me to get to the action sooner. Have fun Gaming!

This should allow more free setups. And IF I wanted, couldnt buy upgrades now anyway. Dont recommend this one

Its been very useful for generating much more balanced, i.e., interesting, games.

Great app for random sorting of start tiles for playing settlers. It is not, and does not claim to be, the full game.

This is a great app for what it says it does. Generating map layouts to play catan. The description obviously says its not the actual game. Great compliment to a great board game.

It does what it says its supposed to do. My biggest complaint is that you have to pay to unlock more variants, even if it is just a 5 or 6 player game, without Seafarers or the other special expansions.

You dont play the game on the app. You should really read the description before asked dumb questions. The app does what it does and it helpful. Five stars for sure.

Downloaded and it wouldnt even let you play a demo game. Deleted right after download.

This is a good helper app for people who play catan. If someone has written review the looks like it was written by a five-year-old you shouldnt pay attention to it, they dont know what they are talking about. This isnt a game, its a helper app.

Only one free basic layout. Disappointed that any other layout (5-6 player, seafarers, etc.) is an additional charge.

Who wants to pay for a layout? This talks about playing catan. Its false advertisement and should refund us the money! POS!!!
